The in-person Introductory Sommelier Course and Examination involves a two-day fast-paced intensive review, comprising lectures, tastings, and concluding with the Introductory Sommelier Exam on the second day. The examination for the Introductory Course consists of 70 multiple-choice questions reflecting the course content, to be completed within 45 minutes. A minimum score of 60% is necessary to earn the Introductory Sommelier Course and Examination certificate and pin.
